Itinerary: South Valley Tour Cusco
Day Tour (Approx. 8:00 am – 2:45 pm)
08:00 am – Pickup from Hotel/Meeting Point
We begin the day by picking you up from your hotel or a designated point in Cusco.
Stop 1: Tipón Archaeological Site
First, enjoy a guided tour of Tipón, famous for its sophisticated Inca hydraulic system and agricultural terraces that are still in use today.
Stop 2: Pikillacta Archaeological Site
Next, visit Pikillacta, a remarkable pre-Inca site built by the Wari culture. It features hundreds of ancient enclosures and impressive walls.
Scenic Drive: Huacarpay Lagoon
Afterwards, enjoy a scenic drive past Huacarpay Lagoon, a haven for migratory and Andean birds.
Stop 3: Andahuaylillas
Then, arrive in the charming town of Andahuaylillas to visit its famous colonial church, often called the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes.” A guided tour is included, followed by some free time to explore.
