Experience the Inca Trail Peru: 8 Days of Culture, Adventure & Machu Picchu
Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Begin your journey with a warm welcome in Lima. First, meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 2:00 pm for an essential briefing about the upcoming adventure. Afterward, settle into your hotel and prepare for an unforgettable exploration of Peru.
Day 2: Lima to Cusco
Next, fly to Cusco and spend the day exploring this historic city. Visit local markets and iconic landmarks, whileimmersing yourself in the vibrant Andean culture. Alternatively, join a guided tour to uncover the hidden gems of Cusco.
Day 3: Sacred Valley & Ollantaytambo
Then, discover the Sacred Valley on a full-day guided tour. Visit a weaving co-op and a pottery-making community, followed by lunch at a local family restaurant. After lunch, explore the Ollantaytambo archaeological site or stroll its charming cobblestone streets.
Days 4–6: Inca Trail Peru Adventure
Subsequently, depart Ollantaytambo to begin your trek along the legendary Inca Trail Peru. Hike past ancient ruins, traverse scenic passes, and experience breathtaking cloud forest landscapes. Along the way, cross iconic sites such as Dead Woman’s Pass, Phuyupatamarca, and Wiñay Wayna, while your guides provide expert insights.
Day 7: Machu Picchu Exploration
On this day, reach the Sun Gate at sunrise for stunning first views of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel, then return to Cusco by train, taking in the spectacular Andean scenery along the way.
Day 8: Departure from Cusco
