Travel plan «MachuPicchu Full Day»
Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco.
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, providing personalized service tailored to small groups. Here, we will board the train that winds through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, taking you to breathtaking landscapes until we arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes. The journey from Cusco to Ollantaytambo station lasts around 2 hours, while the train journey from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu town takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.
We will assign a tour guide to accompany you from the moment of your hotel pick-up throughout the entire journey. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, the guide will assist you in reaching the bus station for a 30-minute ride to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, with a 40-minute ascent. We include entrance tickets to Machu Picchu to initiate the guided tour. Throughout the approximately 3-hour tour, your guide will lead you through the sanctuary, allowing you to explore and discover the rich history and culture
Booking this tour to Machu Picchu you will be able to know the most important archaeological center in South America and all its different tourist attractions. At the end of the tour to Machu Picchu , we will once again board the buses that will return us to the town of Machu Picchu Pueblo At the respective time we will board the tourist train at any of the schedules, (1h 30 min). Terrific Travel Guide – Empe
Empe is a great guide. Can’t You cannot go wrong with her.
December 2023, my cousin and I were looking lost in the main plaza in Cusco when Empe approached us. We looked lost because we were lost. Empe took us under her wing, showed us the city and arranged for us to see Machu Picchu early the next morning. Everything went flawlessly. Having been given no notice at all, she arranged for a 4:30 AM departure the next morning for Machu Picchu. What a fantastic trip that was. Her English is flawless. Her knowledge of her country is deep. On top of that she is a fun and lively person. By far and away she is the finest guide my cousin and I have ever had on our travels around the world.
