Travel by boat for thirty minutes and walk for forty-five minutes to Lake Tres Chimbadas. Paddle across the lake in a catamaran in search of the resident family of nine giant river otters (spotted by 60% of visitors) and other lake creatures like caimans, hoatzins, and horned screamers.

Visit the Ñape Center, a community organization that produces medicine from forest plants. Follow a trail that explains the medicinal and other uses of various selected plants.

After dinner, enjoy an optional night walk. Although nocturnal mammals are often active but rarely seen, you will spot frogs with unique shapes and sounds, giving you a glimpse into their fascinating natural history.
