Andean Diaries Travel Peru EIRL, also known as the Company in this document, wants you to enjoy your vacation in Peru to the fullest , so we recommend that you carefully read and obey the instructions of your sales agent.

Andean Diaries is considered one of the safe agencies in Peru .

Please read the following conditions carefully, as it is your contract with Andean Diaries SCRL , by booking a trip with Andean Diaries travel Peru EIRL , you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which describe, among other things, our cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability at the time of making your reservation.

The appointment given by us will be valid once the reservation is confirmed, from which you can ask all the questions regarding your vacation, Andean Diaries will be happy to answer all the questions for you. Budgets do not apply to international flights to and from Peru. If you want us to help you with international flights or within Peru, the flight must be paid immediately and purchased on the same day or, if possible, the next day to ensure the validity of the offer, since prices vary from one day to another.

Our prices do not include meals not specified in your itinerary, personal expenses, personal insurance, and luggage transportation.

  1. THE CONTRACT

The contract is between Andean Diaries (also known as Andean Diaries travel Peru EIRL) and the client, who is the person who travels or intends to travel on a tour operated by the company. You, the client, are subject to having read and understood our travel policy as indicated below. By making a reservation by phone, or through the website, or by email or fax, you accept and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client in relation to the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, warranty agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions or any promise of reimbursement that is not expressed herein.

These conditions only apply to services in our program and not to international and domestic flights. These are subject to the conditions imposed by the airlines.

  1. SECURING YOUR RESERVATION

To guarantee the reservation, Andean Diaries requires a completed reservation form (either the one on our website or the one sent by us with your quote), together with the necessary deposit payment. The prudent time to make your reservation is 30 days before your trip to Peru, a reservation is accepted and becomes final only from the date on which your deposit is made and at that time there is a contract. Andean Diaries reserves the right to reject any reservation at its discretion.

  1. CUSTOMER DATA

To confirm and guarantee Clients the organization of the trip, the client must provide all their identity data with the initial payment or no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. Client details include passport number, copy of passport data and medical form (if applicable), full name, date of birth, international flight information and nationality, case or mobile phone for any emergency.

  1. FINAL PAYMENT / SURCHARGES

In order for the company to confirm and guarantee to the Clients their organization of their trip, the client must provide all the client data with their final payment at the beginning of the Tour.

Surcharges : To avoid surcharges on your vacations, make your reservation in advance, do not change hotels at the last minute.

  1. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION

An administration fee of US$50 per person will be charged if the confirmed reservation is changed or transferred to a different departure date or tour, up to 30 days prior to your trip. Thereafter all changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to charges as follows.

If a client is not able to travel, and mentions 20 days in advance, in circumstances that Andean Diaries deems reasonable, then the reservation may be transferred to another suitable person, or your money will be returned less 20% since 10 % goes in money transfer payments and the other 10% are administrative expenses, your money will be returned in less than 15 days.

  1. CHANGES

The company reserves the right to modify any of the facilities, services or prices described in the brochure or website. If that change is made, the client will be informed at the time of making the reservation or when the change occurs. While the Company will endeavor to operate all tours as advertised, reasonable changes to the itinerary may be made when deemed necessary or convenient by the Company due to external factors not within the Company’s control.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY – ​​RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Confirmed reservations will have a cancellation policy in the following terms:

Cancellations or changes in paid reservations have a penalty of 50% of the total value of the package and will be made within a maximum period of 60 calendar days after receiving the request.
Cancellations or changes between 8 and 1 days before the departure date have a penalty of 100% of the total value of the package.

The air tickets of commercial airlines or charter flights included in the reservation are not refundable, in case of cancellation the flights will remain in the name of the holders of the reservation who will be able to use the tickets in a period of 1 year, paying the penalties and rate changes that may arise at the time they are used.

  1. COMPLAINTS

If the client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, it is a condition of the contract that they tell our local representative at that time. If you do not complain at that time, if you later deny us the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem, Andean Diaries cannot accept any responsibility. If the client has a dispute with Andean Diaries and cannot resolve it, please write to us within 28 days of your return and we will investigate further.

  1. TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Travel insurance is highly recommended for all clients who book. We recommend that it cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evacuation expenses, cancellation and reduction. It is our policy to check the validity and coverage of your insurance policy and we reserve the right to refuse carriage to anyone whose insurance does not meet these criteria. If you decide not to purchase travel insurance, you will be required to sign a waiver form acknowledging your acceptance that insurance is recommended but declined and in the event of a need to change or cancel your trip or if you incurred expenses such as medical expenses, which the client will be responsible for all such additional costs.

  1. MEDICAL FORM

For insurance purposes all clients are required to complete our Andean Diaries form , which must be signed and dated by a practicing physician (if there are pre-existing conditions) and sent to us no later than 15 days prior to the start of your trip. .

  1. FINANCIAL SECURITY

Andean Diaries SCRL is a travel agency accredited by the Ministry of Tourism and registered as a public limited company of the Ministries of the Tourism Office of Peru. Andean Diaries SCRL complies with current European regulations regarding the protection of customer money.

  1. CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITY

The client agrees to accept the authority and decisions of Andean Diaries employees, tour leaders and agents while on vacation. If in the opinion of these persons, the health or conduct of a client at any time, before or after departure, appears to jeopardize the progress of the safety, comfort or tranquility of the tour, the client may be excluded from the entire or part of the tour.

Clients must be in possession of their respective identity documents, and are responsible for carrying a valid passport, visa, if applicable, and the vaccination certificates required for the entire trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the return date.

  1. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reservations are accepted with the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent in adventure travel and that the visits, excursions or expeditions, which appear in our programs, are carried out at their own will. It’s also important to understand that the most meticulous fixes can go awry.

The company obliges to provide its services with the necessary diligence, so that the entire trip goes perfectly, we will strive to serve you as best as possible.

The Company does not assume any responsibility for force majeure, weather or natural phenomena that may occur before or during the trip, or for any eventuality that may make any trip uncomfortable or difficult, or for any delay or obstruction of your trip in any way. and does not guarantee the failure on the part of the company, either for the total or partial execution of the provision of the services that the Company has promised to provide, which may have been affected by the aforementioned factors.

  1. FLIGHTS / DELAYS

We cannot accept any responsibility for cancellations or delays in any of your flights, if the cancellation or delay is due to adverse weather conditions, the rescheduling of the airline, the airport of authority and / or the action of air traffic controllers, mechanical failures or industrial action.

Our company will strive to solve your travel itinerary, and that all inconveniences are solved and nothing is affected by air delays.

The Client must understand and be flexible if due to air delays the problems cannot be solved.

  1. POLICY ON CHILDREN

On all programs, unless otherwise stated, the maximum age for a child is 11 years and 11 months. People over 12 years of age are considered adults and will be subject to adult rates.

  1. LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS

For all reservations made within 10 days of departure, there will be a USD $50.00 fee charged to the file. This Last Minute fee covers our additional costs for Hotel providers, Train Ticket, Bus Ticket and operating expenses.
