José Manuel Díaz Ayala – Operations Management
Born and grew up in Puerto Maldonado, embraced by the sights, sounds, of the Amazon Rainforest. From an early age, I discovered that travel is not only about reaching a destination—it’s about the stories you collect, the people you meet, and the unforgettable moments that shape your journey. That love for connection and discovery is what inspired me to begin my path in the travel industry.
At Andean Diaries, I do more than handle logistics—I help create journeys that feel meaningful and true. For me, travel is about slowing down, breathing in the beauty of nature, and finding those rare places where time seems to pause and life feels more alive.
Peru will always hold my heart. There is something magical in this land—from the heights of the Andes to the depths of the Amazon—where every sound, from the call of a bird to the rustle of leaves, reminds us of the wonder and resilience of nature. I speak both Spanish and English, and I feel most at home exploring hidden paths where few have walked, places that invite you to see the world with new eyes.
I believe travel should be simple, meaningful, and transformative. The most powerful memories are often created far from the crowds—in places that feel authentic, peaceful, and full of life.
Being part of Andean Diaries is more than a role—it is a privilege. It allows me to share the real Peru with, respect, and passion, guiding travelers toward experiences that don’t just fill a photo album, but live on in the heart forever.
