Travel plan “Machu Picchu Full Day”
Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco.
We will pick you up early from your hotel and transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, ensuring personalized service as we cater to small groups. From there, we will board the train that travels through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, offering breathtaking landscapes until we arrive at Aguas Calientes.
The journey from Cusco to Ollantaytambo station takes approximately 2 hours. The train ride from Ollantaytambo station to Machu Picchu town lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, our agency staff will escort you to the bus station for your visit to Machu Picchu.
At the scheduled time with your guide, you will board a 30-minute bus to the Machu Picchu sanctuary, with a 40-minute ascent time. We will present your Machu Picchu entrance tickets and begin a guided tour lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Booking this Machu Picchu tour allows you to explore South America’s most significant archaeological site and its various attractions. After concluding the tour, we will take the bus back to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
At the designated time, we will board the tourist train, departing according to availability, with an approximate travel time of 1 hour and 30 minutes to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, with a travel time of about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Finally, you will arrive at your hotel in Cusco.
